INSTANT CELEBRITY/OVERNIGHT SENSATION
GRM780 is starting 2 open mic/music showcase/mixer series in July. The emphasis is to provide indie music and performance artists a place to showcase their talents as well as attendees being able to hangout, socialize and network with each other.
Starting Wed July 18th 7PM at the Vagabond Ballroom in Oakland, CA the INSTANT CELEBRITY OPENMIC/SHOWCASE kicks off and artists who signup for the open mic will not only have a chance to perform but win prizes as well. Winners will be determined by applause.
This series is open to musicians, singers, rappers, dancers, comedians, spoken word artists and anyone who has a special talent that they would like to perform in front of an audience.
There will be performances from local celebrity guests. Guests in attendance who’re not performers will be eligble to receive gifts and win prizes. This event will take place the 1st & 3rd Weds of the month, people of all ages are welcomed to attend. Hosted by EYE’Z.
Then Tue July 24th 8PM @ the SHOWDOWN in San Francisco OVERNIGHT SENSATION OPENMIC starts and resumes each 2nd & 4th Tue of each month. This series cators more music artists but specifically soul, urban pop and hiphop artists. Performers at this event will also have a chance to have prizes. Winners will be determined by applause. Non-performers in attendance will be eligible to receive gifts and win prizes.
